Easter 2012

Easter morning we went to our stake conference. Mike and I are dummies and forgot it was stake conf. We went to the church at 9, and conf started at 10. oops ;) Since we were an hour early we went in and played with the baby. After that we went to Mike's Cousin's Grandma Ruby's house for an egg hunt. So fun! She is such a sweet lady! (I didn't have my camera, so I'm waiting for Rosi to send me the picks she got) Then we went to Grandpa Oblad's for dinner. Last Thursday Kyden and I went to dye easter eggs at Grandpa Oblad's. Here are some pics of our adventures.

 Yes, Dad's shirt says "Trek yourself, before you wreck yourself" freaking awesome! I promised dad I wouldn't put this on facebook. I barely got permission to put it on our blog. Interestingly enough Kins and dad were about to go to the grocery store when they realized they were wearing the same shirt. Dad laughed, and Kinsie changed.

It's amazing how one person's junk can mean so much to another! The DI is an amazing place! I saw someone in our ward had made one of these. She put the outfit her little girl came home in, one of the diapers, the bracelets, and the name tag in a shadowbox. Unfortunately I couldn't find the name tag so I just used his announcement.

Mega Blow Out!

Today Kyden and I went to work force services to get his insurance information settled. In the middle of the meeting he had a blow out that was so bad I had poop all over my lap, and a bit on their carpet! To make matters worse I ran out of wipes. There was a lady that saw me struggling to use the paper towels and brought me her grandson's wipes. It was so nice of her to share with me! After we went to Abuelo's to pick up Mike's back pack. When we got there I decided to give him a bath! Here are some pics of him nice and clean with Grandpa Oblad

Happy Birthday Fasha!

So March 22nd was dad's 60 somthingthing birthday ;) (63) And you all know how much dad loves his birds ya? We went to the Tracy Aviery. It was so much fun! The birds were SO amazing, and beautiful! Except the buzzard! EWE They are so creepy! And Ginormous! I'm talking 6 feet tall! This thing was double my size! I can't imagine seeing one in real life! It waas all hunched and by its lonesome like a creeper! It was fun to go with dad. I swear it brought out his inner child! We couldn't keep up with him. He wanted to go to the next exibit before the rest of us could even finish the one we were on. :) Gotta love him! He went off about each species (his inner wild life biologist) So funny. After we went to Millies and had some pretty awesome burgers. Yes Tyson, I had a burger. Then we went home where we met up with dad after stopping to get a cake from Bakers (50 dollar cake, but worth every penny!) and having the write happy birthday dad. So yummy! Here are some pics
